Refund Policy

Greetings! At Hard Pan Media, we are committed to providing exceptional video and drone services. Given that our work involves custom labor, specialized equipment, and compliance with FAA regulations, please review the following policies:
1. **Deposits & Project Initiation** To secure your filming date or project, a deposit is required. **Non-refundable Deposits:** Your deposit reserves your place on our calendar and covers initial administrative and pre-production efforts, thus it is non-refundable. **Project Initiation:** Once we commence creative tasks such as storyboarding or scripting, that portion of the fee is considered earned and non-refundable.
2. **Weather & FAA Cancellations (Drone Services)** All drone services are subject to FAA regulations and prevailing weather conditions. - **Safety First:** We may need to cancel a flight if weather conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., high winds, rain, or restricted airspace). **Rescheduling:** If a shoot is canceled due to weather or FAA regulations, we will reschedule at no additional cost to you. - **Refund Policy:** Should rescheduling be unfeasible due to a time-sensitive event, we may offer a partial refund, deducting any pre-production costs incurred.
3. **Client-Initiated Cations & Rescheduling** We understand that project timelines can evolve. However, last-minute changes can affect our ability to serve other clients. - **Notice Requirement:** We kindly request at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. - **Late Cancellations:** Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the day rate. - **Site Access:** If a shoot is unable to proceed due to the inability to secure site permissions, talent releases, or property access, the full session fee remains due and non-refundable.
4. **Revisions & Final Delivery** - **Creative Differences:** Refunds cannot be issued based on creative differences or if you have a change of heart after delivery. - **Revisions:** We allow for 3 rounds of minor revisions to ensure the product aligns with our agreement. - **Final Payment:** As outlined in Section 5 of our Terms, final payment is due on delivery. Once the final edited assets are delivered, no refunds will be provided.
5. **Equipment Failure & Acts of God** In the unlikely event of a technical issue or "Act of God" that prevents the delivery of the final product, you will have the option of a full refund for the affected service or a complete re-shoot at our expense.
